ᐅ Sloping site with a level terrace at ground floor level

Hello,

we have purchased a building plot with a slight slope. The plot measures 23x23 meters (75x75 feet) and has a height difference of 3 meters (10 feet) from the street to the boundary point.

We do not want a basement but a ground-level terrace instead.
Now we are considering having living spaces in the lower level.

The idea would be to have the living room/kitchen, etc. downstairs and the bedrooms on the ground floor.

Has anyone implemented this and can share their experience, possibly with pictures?

I have been digging around a bit more and found a "comparison example"—by no means a model solution—where you can clearly see how a design attempts to deal with a sloped site and an integrated garage with an entrance on the sleeping level. So, as already mentioned to @Franky73, this is not a "best practice" example, but rather another case of the "same problem": https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/planung-efh-in-hanglage-Grundstück-optimal-ausnutzen.31172/

Why place the storage room behind the utility room? Whether it’s empty beer crates or skis, I wouldn’t want to carry them through the utility room every time.

How high is the road at the northern property boundary? The garage in the southeast bothers me. When you sit on the terrace and look at the two-story wall in the east, I wouldn’t like that. You once mentioned that the heights of the plot were measured. Is there a plan for that?

Why choose the shed roof? The north side would probably look better with a gable roof.

Thank you for the comments and new ideas. These will be discussed with the architect.

That's how we have it too. You can also build it completely flat with a surrounding "crown," which gives it a more modern look—one of our neighbors has theirs like that.
Or, best case, a flat roof.
