Hello,

The cement screed has been installed for about three weeks now, and small black spots are gradually appearing on the drywall panels upstairs.

Ceiling with stains, flaking, and white plaster areas.

Unfinished plastered ceiling with white filler spots and circular markings.

Green drywall with many white filler spots at joints and corners.

Room ceiling with leftover filler and a hanging white cable line.

Is this mold? It looks like mold to me.

I took the time to scan and upload the heating-up protocol, even though it is not directly related to the topic here.

It was the same for us. Nothing cracked, but everything dried well.
During this phase, we were very busy wiping windows and removing water droplets from the ceilings. Ventilate, ventilate, ventilate.
Tip: Buy a window vacuum cleaner. It helps a lot and is great for cleaning windows later on.

Well, drying alone does not solve the mold problem, especially if the mold is already present on the back side. Would I have the right to claim compensation?

Only a lawyer you trust may and can answer that!

I’ll try to resolve this amicably first and discuss it directly with the architect; otherwise, I will unfortunately have to involve a lawyer.

All drywall panels will be replaced at the architect’s expense. We visited the house with an inspector. One more question: could the battens possibly also be affected by mold, or does it usually take longer for wood to develop mold?
