ᐅ Which type of facing brick or clinker is this? Does anyone have experience with these materials?

Hello,
we are currently still searching for the right brick. We had actually both agreed on one, but its WDF format would have meant an additional cost of around €3,500, which would have strained our budget.
Now we have found a budget-friendly alternative in the NF format. Unfortunately, the intermediary does not want to disclose the name, and the only reference building is a bungalow. We still like the brick there, but based on our experience, the appearance of a brick can also depend on the house style/type. Therefore, we would like to see the brick once more on a 1.5-story gable roof house.
Attached are the photos. We imagine it would look nice with anthracite windows, gray mortar joints, and a black roof.
Perhaps someone knows the name of this brick...

Could it be Röben Dykbrand Flemish multicolor? It looks more like the brown-white multi to me.

so that we can take another look at a gable roof as a reference So your problem isn’t the base price, but the lack of imagination to picture any other roof on top. With the right roof but the wrong window color, you’ll have exactly the same issue.

It’s called ZT 5094 and that’s how the home improvement store offers it to the mason. It’s important to me to use approved products rather than some "Made in Chinistan" item. The manufacturer/importer is listed on the test certificate.

pffreestyler20 Jul 2018 08:52We already have imagination, but we have also experienced that the same stone with the same joint looks different on a city villa compared to a multi-family gable roof house. Hence my interest.
I highly doubt that our local hardware store, which works closely with the distributor, sells non-approved Chinese roof tiles...

The bricks are not only multicolored but also include almost black elements with very high contrast to the other bricks. With this type of material, the masons really need to know what they are doing and perhaps be familiar with the bricks in advance. You can’t just take them straight from the pallet and start laying.
We are using the Olfry 1707 Antique for a half-hip roof on a floor plan of 15 x 9.5 meters (49 x 31 feet). On the gable, I wouldn’t want it to appear any "busier."

Here is one with a stone like that plus a gable roof. And white windows – I seem to recall that the OP’s taste in this regard is somewhat "unique."
