Hello everyone, I have a specific question regarding spare parts for Ikea Hemnes furniture. I mainly have a dresser and a bed frame from this series. Which spare parts do you encounter most often when it comes to repairs or wear and tear? I am especially interested in specific components such as screws, hinges, drawer slides, or other frequently needed parts, along with insights into why these parts tend to be particularly prone to issues. Thanks for sharing your experiences and assessments!

I need to add something here! Especially with Hemnes dressers and shelves, I find that the plastic glides or stoppers on the drawers are among the most important wear parts. They ensure smooth opening and closing and prevent damage to the wood. When they are broken, the furniture quickly sounds cheap and doesn’t work properly anymore. So definitely pay attention to these small parts and replace them if needed – it’s definitely worth it!

In summary, for Ikea Hemnes furniture, the spare parts with the highest demand are:
- Hinges (due to stress and material fatigue)
- Drawer runners (wear from use)
- Screws and fasteners (loosening due to load)
- Plastic glides/stoppers (protective function)

Regular inspection of these components helps to avoid costly repairs. It is also important to know the exact spare part numbers at Ikea, as the parts are not always identical for all Hemnes models.
