Replacing the drawer runners is also uncomplicated, as these are available as individual parts and can be easily swapped out. Surface damage can be easily repaired with standard wood repair kits, although it should be noted that the surface finish of HEMNES, typical for solid wood, does not have a sealant like particleboard, which makes repairs a bit more delicate.
