How do you know where north is? Or am I just blind...? Not that difficult: The Mittelland Canal is marked, and it runs roughly east-west. Also, you can find "Hügelstraße" on the plan.
If you search for both on Google, you’ll directly find a newspaper article about the new development "Knolls Wiesen" in Schwagstorf.
I’m leaning slightly toward option 3. However, there aren’t really any clear advantages or disadvantages. With option 6, you can divide the plot better into front for the house and back for the garden. The layout of the driveway also seems simpler to me.
In option 3, the neighboring houses on the blue plots might be a bit further away, so it doesn’t feel as cramped. That seems worse in option 6.
Are there already houses built?

Thanks first of all for your replies :-)
There are no houses yet. The site development was only completed a few days ago.
Personally, I would also lean towards the 6. Our townhouse would be about 9x9m (30x30 feet) in size. Next to it, a 6m (20 feet) garage or carport. Maybe build right up to the boundary?
That way, you would have “contact” with the whole neighborhood. Front and back!
And for the dog, I think the “longer” garden would be nicer. Especially combined with a nice garden shed... :-)
I mean, we can’t set very high demands. We definitely want to stay in our hometown because our dog needs to be dropped off at my parents’ place before work, and life here is nice and familiar!
A square meter of land costs only 75€ (about 7.50 per square foot)... Fully developed...
I don’t think there’s much to say about that, right?
