The construction depth is simply a result of the specific design; thicker does not necessarily mean better – the same applies to the number of chambers; both are numerical values without real significance. The letters indicate a more important difference; for example, AD lacks the central seal (MD). For white PVC windows, I see little difference; for colored ones, I would recommend co-extruded coating (Gealan).
