ᐅ Where do you buy your carpets? Is it possible to purchase them online?

We need new living room carpets. They should be around 4x3m (13x10 feet) – so definitely not a cheap runner you grab quickly at a hardware store.

Since we live in a remote area, we order almost everything online. Money is tight after building the house, so we’re looking for an affordable supplier with reliable quality. Can anyone recommend something?

For the small rooms, I bought carpet from Teppich-Traum (not to be confused with Traumteppich!). They are really great and affordable. But only for small areas.

That is possible and not expensive. Binding the edges might cost around €2 per meter (about $2.20 per yard). The carpet price of course varies depending on quality.

Carpet from the roll is more like broadloom carpet. I just don’t find that nice enough. A proper carpet has a pattern optimized for its size, and so on.

That’s what I call service! I ask here about rugs – and suddenly my screen is full of rug ads. Rug Vista is popping up right now – I hadn’t heard of it before either. I don’t understand what others complain about regarding targeted advertising... 🙂
