Hello,
we actually have wall-to-wall carpet in the entire hallway because we find it warmer. However, this carpet wears out more along the walking paths than at the edges. We have now placed a runner-style carpet in the middle of the hallway. But it does not stay in place and keeps shifting. We tried fixing it with adhesive tape, but it now wrinkles because it still wants to move. Do you have any suggestions?
Best regards, Gerda

Hello Gerda,
We experienced the same issue, but in the living room. No matter what we tried, there was always a wrinkle that kept getting bigger day by day. In the end, we even bought new broadloom carpet and had the entire room recarpeted. The heavily used areas looked terrible, but we also didn’t want to accept the wrinkle from the carpet that was lying on top.
