Hello,
in the new residential areas here, almost every house has windows in anthracite (I assume this is RAL 7016). Is this a standard color offered by window manufacturers, or are there other gray shades available at the same price? Do you all have this very dark gray tone, or were there also lighter gray options?
Best regards
Sabine

So, is this anthracite gray (RAL 7016) a standard color, and would a slightly lighter gray cost more? No, that’s not quite correct. Just search for "window color palette" on Google and, for example, choose the link for "Weru" windows. They list their standard colors there.
- White is the least expensive option for uPVC windows.
- Then, depending on the manufacturer, there are so-called “standard” or “preferred colors,” which cost a bit more than white. These usually include anthracite, brown, lighter gray, etc.
- Only if none of the preferred colors work, you can choose a custom color based on the RAL system, which allows any desired color. However, this is generally more expensive. In that case, you might also need to select the custom color for the garage door and the front door if you want everything to match.

sonnenkind8020 May 2016 15:19We also have basalt gray and really like it because it stands out from anthracite, which I think people tend to get a bit tired of. The Braas roof tiles in slate gray go really well with it.
We use RAL 7037 Dusty Grey
