Hello,

in the new residential areas here, almost every house has windows in anthracite (I assume this is RAL 7016). Is this a standard color offered by window manufacturers, or are there other gray shades available at the same price? Do you all have this very dark gray tone, or were there also lighter gray options?

Best regards
Sabine

We chose RAL 7016 and are happy with it. Basically, you can get any RAL color you want. It’s all just a matter of price. White is still the most affordable option.

Hi Curly,

There are various standard colors (for example, white, light gray, silver gray, anthracite, green, red, brown) and you can usually get windows in almost any custom RAL color from most manufacturers for an extra charge. Just check with the window manufacturers and installers you are interested in and ask for their color chart. We chose slate gray (RAL 7015), which is a bit lighter.

So, is this anthracite gray (RAL 7016) a standard color, and would a slightly lighter gray cost more?

Best regards,

I recommend our color: basalt gray (RAL 7012)

It didn’t cost more than the standard anthracite and you don’t see it on every new build.
