Hello forum,

I am currently working on my garden and have an existing wall that needs to be repaired in some areas. Unfortunately, I can’t find this type of stone anywhere! It’s probably due to the wrong term I’m using when searching. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Weathered concrete blocks used as a temporary retaining wall, covered with moss.

Most likely, search engines are not trained to recognize "lightweight pumice and alluvial stone products in non-standard shapes."

Do these still exist today? I remember them from my grandma’s garden…
Have you tried searching with Google Lens?

Hello,

hmm... they strongly remind me of pumice blocks / pumice concrete blocks.
Try looking in hardware stores or ask building material suppliers who specialize in historic or reclaimed building materials.
