Hello everyone,
we need around 85m² (915 sq ft) for bedrooms and the upper floor hallway (country-style floorboards).
Does anyone have a recommendation for an online store where you can get a good price, preferably also for clearance items or second-grade products?
Feel free to send a private message.
Thanks!

Hello tumaa
There are big differences when it comes to parquet flooring. Choose the surface layer as thick as possible. 3.6mm (about 0.14 inches) is okay.
Then I recommend solid wood parquet. In this type, the base layer of the parquet is made from the same wood as the surface layer, of course only grade B and C wood. But the wood behaves consistently.
If you want to save money, install the parquet yourself. It’s quite easy. And don’t save on the adhesive. Use the most expensive one. The same applies when applying it with a notched trowel. Make sure the entire floor surface is really covered with adhesive. Then you will enjoy your parquet and can sand it down again after many years.

nordbayer5 Apr 2020 07:14If you operate a heat pump underfloor heating system with a thick hardwood floor requiring a high supply temperature, the efficiency of the heat pump will drop significantly due to its operating principle, leading to higher heating costs. With gas heating, the disadvantage is only marginal.
