Hello, I’m planning to buy a completely new room set soon.
The color of all the furniture, except for the bed, the desk, and the Pax wardrobe doors, will be "whitewashed oak."
So my question is how I should handle the color scheme. I would like to add a stripe in ochre brown, but I’m not sure how wide it should be or if it would match the color of the furniture.
I would appreciate your help with this. Feel free to suggest other nice and warm colors or combinations—I would be very glad.
PS. I should mention that this is a "youth room," I’m 16 years old and male, in case that helps.

Hello,
the color choice is always a tricky issue, especially when it’s painted. I would recommend starting with paper samples in strips, so you can remove and replace them if you don’t like the color.
Brown would be a good option, but it’s quite mature, so the color should be one you like and will still like in three months.
