Hello, we want to buy an IKEA kitchen. Since we don’t have the time to thoroughly deal with the topic ourselves but still want a well-thought-out and carefully planned kitchen, we urgently need someone who is experienced with IKEA kitchen planning and can design the kitchen for us based on our rough guidelines. This person should, as mentioned, be very familiar with IKEA kitchens, offer suggestions on what looks good, what is practical, and above all, ensure that everything fits (connections). The kitchen will be installed in Vienna. The Graz area would also be possible!
Thank you very much for any replies!!!

- Do a rough plan (layout with a general idea)
- Order a kitchen measurement service from IKEA (€70.00)
- Take the rough plan (after the measurement is done) to IKEA
- Ask a friendly kitchen assistant if they can help
- Order shopping service with delivery and installation
- If desired, order a custom countertop
- Pay at the checkout
- Schedule delivery and installation at the transport desk
- After installation, return to IKEA with the kitchen measurement and purchase receipt to get the €70.00 reimbursed
And that’s how your new kitchen is ready...
Just for your information:
IKEA is a cash-and-carry store, which means:
You buy and transport it yourself.
Not all services are included as standard.
First: IKEA staff do not design your kitchen, but assist you in the planning.
All planning is done by the customer at their own risk. As mentioned: IKEA helps, but doesn’t take responsibility.
Second:
Kitchen measurement, delivery, installation, and shopping services are offered by third parties, not IKEA itself.
If you want a kitchen with very little effort, IKEA might disappoint you.
But what you shouldn’t overlook is the warranty that IKEA provides:
25 years on the entire kitchen, excluding appliances.
It used to be called a lifetime warranty, but in a different context... 😀 😀 😀
That should be worth a bit of effort, right???
Customers who buy a kitchen at IKEA enjoy the shopping experience with everything around it. (Not everyone is satisfied in the end, but I think 99% are).
