Hello everyone,
we have now reached the topic of the final plaster layer inside the house. The walls and ceilings in the rooms (gypsum plaster) will be delivered at Q2 finish. Wet rooms will have a lime-cement plaster, also at Q2 finish.
The plan was to apply a relatively fine textured plaster with a grain size of 0.5 - 1.0 mm (0.02 - 0.04 inches).
In total, we are talking about approximately 335 m² (3,607 sq ft) of wall surface and 145 m² (1,561 sq ft) of ceiling surface.
The current offer is as follows: Fine decorative topcoat plaster Knauf Rotkalk Filz 05 - grain size 0.5 mm (0.02 inches) + coating
The ceiling will be smoothly skimmed and painted. Roughly speaking, this amounts to about 8,500 € for the entire house.
I think I will get some alternative quotes as well.
Do you have any ideas for a more cost-effective solution? I have no sense of how it compares to a standard textured wallpaper (walls and ceilings) or just plaster on the walls combined with wallpaper or paintable fleece on the ceiling.
Thank you very much for your suggestions :-)
