julianpeHello,
I couldn’t find an answer to my question.
I want to install a telecommunication cable J-Y(ST)Y 2x2x0.8 on the ribbed concrete ceiling.
The cable will be used for the window contact switches.
Does the cable necessarily need to be placed in a conduit when the concrete is poured, or can I lay it like this?
Thank you very much

I believe the question becomes irrelevant when you compare the risk (failure of window contact) with the effort (a few euros), right?
Keep in mind, you’re dealing with construction workers. With iron, angle grinders, boots, concrete pumps, and shovels. Protect your cables as much as possible.

But no, I wouldn’t run this cable through the ceiling.
I would either use J-2Y(St)Y or A-2YF(L)2Y.
But why do you want to install the cables in the ceiling already?
