Max2017Hello,
I would like to have a luggage rack in the bedroom, similar to what is commonly found in hotels. It shouldn’t be just a folding stand, but a proper base.
I have a black Pax wardrobe and the VALLAVIK bed. Naturally, my goal is for the luggage rack to visually match these pieces. As far as I can tell, IKEA doesn’t offer something like this directly. Do you know of any “IKEA hacks” or similar ideas to achieve this?
Thanks for your help!

P.S. Since I travel for work so often, it definitely makes sense—don't ask…

my first idea was for you to take a
and attach legs underneath. Unfortunately, IKEA saved a few centimeters (inches) on edge banding there.
The second idea is to place two small dressers side by side.
The third idea is a combination using METOD with lower legs underneath and a suitable thin countertop on top.
You can also stick on some nonslip strips on top, similar to what you sometimes see in hotels.
If the unit should also have protection for the wall, you could attach a back panel.
