Hi,
We have a loop pile carpet in the hallway. I find it quite good and it is not delicate. It is important to pay attention to the loop density, which should be sufficient. The carpet should also not lie too flat.
You need to invest a bit here, but it will last longer because of that.
Kind regards

Ricardo-130 Jan 2016 04:47Hello,
I recommend a sisal rug, which we also use in our hallway. I also like the look very much. Our sisal rug is from Alnatura. It is a bit more expensive, but it also has good organic quality.
Best regards

Hannes1983-110 Feb 2016 09:23No, I’m not a fan of having a carpet in the hallway. In winter, it gets worn out quickly here. Everyone walks over it with their shoes, so it no longer looks inviting.
We use a coir runner in the high-traffic area, and it gets put away during the summer.
