I am looking for a suitable rug for our hallway. It should, of course, be durable. We also walk through the hallway wearing shoes, so the rug needs to be hard-wearing.
Does anyone have any suggestions, and what should definitely be considered?
Thank you in advance.

Kurt1985-19 Mar 2016 06:29We have a carpet made of virgin wool in the hallway. It is important that the fibers are relatively short; otherwise, dirt and debris become embedded. This carpet is slip-resistant and durable, which is very important for us since we walk into the hallway with our shoes on. However, even after two winters, this carpet is worn out, and then we replace it with a new one.

Karl-Steffen-118 Mar 2016 09:09We have a coconut fiber runner in the hallway. It is affordable and durable. This is especially important during the winter months. In summer, it is rolled up and stored in the basement. It is used again in late autumn.
