My TV forgot all its settings last time.

Do you have switches right next to the outlets, or are they more easily accessible?

When you turn off your TV, does it forget the settings? Interesting!
A switch next to the outlet? Would that help? Then I could just unplug it. We have switches for the outlets next to the light switches.

Yes, always before going to bed. And it stays off until it is needed.

A television that remains plugged in on standby mode all year round consumes about one euro worth of electricity.
