we have mostly finished our electrical planning.
The only challenge is the lighting for the staircase...
In our semi-detached house, the staircase has open risers and runs without any windows.
In the basement, the staircase ends in a hallway; on the ground floor, it is open and directly connected to the dining/living area; on the upper floor, there is also a small hallway; and in the attic, it is open and leads directly into the studio.
In the hallways of the basement and upper floor, a ceiling light is planned.
On the ground floor, the dining area light can be switched to also illuminate the staircase,
and in the attic, a wall light is planned for the staircase.
What remains undecided is whether additional wall lights are needed in the staircase between
the basement and ground floor as well as between the ground floor and upper floor. Because of the open risers, I actually think the lighting should be sufficient. We are also considering whether it makes sense to install a power outlet centrally in the staircase, just below the steps above, between the basement and ground floor and between the ground floor and upper floor. This could be used, for example, to connect a motion sensor LED lamp at night so that you don’t always have to turn on the full lighting when going to the kitchen or bathroom half asleep.
Maybe someone here has experience or advice on whether and where it’s best to plan something like this?
Thanks in advance for all your feedback!

In your post history, I see several individual questions, but apart from the kitchen door, there is still no complete visual representation of your house. This makes it difficult to provide useful answers.

What exactly would be helpful? Floor plans?

What exactly would help? Floor plans?Floor plans, definitely, always. Also for any further questions you might have (?)—especially sections through the staircase, which are always useful. Elevations may also help if they clarify the style of the house. Possibly photos as well, for example of the type of staircase that inspired you to want one like that.
Text alone is always tricky: we’re missing the background information from your mental picture.
