ᐅ Siemens KI81RAD30: a better alternative to Frostig?

Hello,

we would like to install a large refrigerator like the Frostig in our new kitchen.

There isn’t much information available about the Frostig, and what little there is tends to be negative regarding the noise level. Although 34 dB is specified, it seems to be louder in reality.

From what I understand, the Siemens KI81RAD30 might be a good, if not better, alternative.

Would this fit into the same cabinet?
Are the hinges compatible?

Hello Björnar,
Last year, I also installed the Siemens refrigerator and freezer with flat hinges and soft-close. I didn’t have any problems with them. Keep in mind not to order Ikea hinges, as the fronts attach directly to the Siemens parts and the Siemens hinges are connected to the cabinet.
I had different ones, but these are also very quiet and energy-efficient.
