HansWehPunkt6 Feb 2018 15:47Hello,
in a clubhouse, there are two shower spaces arranged at a corner with a wall drain located under the faucet of one of the showers.
This means that the water from one shower runs over the other shower space.
This has now become a topic of discussion because workplace regulation 4.1 (6.4(2)) states that shower water must not run over another shower space. However, this is just a workplace guideline, and the clubhouse is not a workplace.
Can anyone help me?
Best regards

Furthermore, are guidelines not binding?
And if it doesn’t have to be done but can be done, then where exactly is the problem now?

This means one person is always standing in the "dirty water" of the other. In swimming pools and communal showers (generally public showers), the shower water is always drained in a way that it does not overflow into the adjacent shower space, which makes sense.
I am looking for a document that states it does not matter in a private house or clubhouse (comparable) situation.
Maybe someone can help me.
Best regards,
Hans

That’s where my knowledge runs out 🙂
