ᐅ Sealing windows from the inside with EPDM membrane

Hello, is it possible to seal floor-to-ceiling windows on the inside at the lower section (between the base plate and the window) with EPDM foil to make them windproof?
I planned to use EPDM for sealing because I have brackets at the bottom and want to coat the foil with bitumen afterward.
Is there anything that would speak against this?

It is usually sufficient to install an EPDM tape on the outside.

For floor-to-ceiling windows, the frame is located below the floor level. The glass extends down to the floor. In this case, it seems to be more about a floor-level frame...
