Hello,

Has anyone painted anthracite aluminum roller shutters?
I’m interested in the interior appearance; maybe someone has a photo.
I can imagine it might make the room feel closed in.

How does the durability and wear compare to natural anodized roller shutters?

Thank you

We chose our roller shutters in anthracite aluminum. Naturally, it is dark inside when they are closed, but they are only down when it is already dark outside anyway. It doesn’t bother us. We have never thought, “Damn, that was a wrong decision.”

How does heating behave? When I think about how hot our dark facade gets.

It certainly gets warm. However, for this reason, most dark aluminum roller shutters are insulated on the inside. Ours is the same. This prevents the heat from reaching the interior directly.

Could you maybe send me a photo? I’m mainly interested in the interior appearance.

Are there any issues with scratches when rolling it up?

Bright window corner with a bench, cushions, stuffed animal, and storage boxes.

Scratches, no. Why would there be any?
