we are planning an electrical renovation and are wondering how to proceed in the areas of the room ceilings. There are some high-quality suspended wood ceilings that I would prefer not to remove just for laying a cable.
Is it possible to connect the old wiring to the new electrical system until a future ceiling renovation?
What regulations need to be considered and how should this be done?

It’s already on the to-do list.

Oh dear... what’s going on, why (instead of Neige) am I suddenly using this nickname? *shrugs*

1. three-core cable
2. two-core cable
3. twin and earth cable
My personal research has shown:
1. technically no problem
2. only with lamps that do not require a protective conductor
3. not permitted
To clarify the question a bit, under which conditions can the old wiring remain?
