ᐅ Replacing the back cushion of an Ektorp sofa

Hello IKEA fans

We have a pretty old Ektorp sofa. Basically, we like it, but the back cushions are completely worn out. Ideally, I would just like to buy the three cushion covers new, but IKEA said they can’t be purchased individually.

My question: What do you do with old Ektorp back cushions? Has anyone ever had them replaced or renewed themselves?

I asked directly at the sofa information desk in IKEA. It was in Chemnitz.
