Hello,

I finally bought a Faktum kitchen from IKEA today. However, I have a problem with the corner base cabinet fa159. According to the "IKEA Home Planner," the upper middle crossbar (the "T") should be installable facing either right or left. IKEA employees gave me different opinions beforehand (some said it’s not possible, others said the opposite).
This is important for me because I need to install the sink in this corner cabinet exactly where the right part of the "T" is (see picture in the link).

Now, I wanted to assemble the part, and unfortunately, there is only one possible assembly method. At least, that’s the only one I see. If the holes for the feet on the base plate were on the other side, it might work, but otherwise, it seems impossible.
Does anyone have experience with this part or ideas on what I could do? Aside from cutting the T or turning it into an L right away.

Best regards,

The attached (current) installation manual describes both versions, right-hand and left-hand door swing.
