Hello, I’m Christina (new to the forum)!
We are currently building a house and, once the project is completed, are considering adding a pool in the garden. What are your experiences? Can it be done as a DIY project? What type of heating have you chosen? How did it go for you?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Christina

Do not change anything about the supply and drainage lines. Water, electricity, and wastewater connections still need to be installed. A hole is also required…We will also have a pool. The pool installer said that a wastewater connection is not necessary. Just pump the water out.
For electricity, you should install at least two runs of 3x2.5 mm² (3x0.01 in²) cables for heating and equipment.
And where does the backwash water go? Emergency overflow?…
I think you’ve got yourself a so-called “specialist” there.
No decent pool builder would make such a statement. Sorry if I’m being so direct.
3x2.5 is also a joke. Depending on the heat pump, counter-current system, lighting, and cover, that won’t be sufficient either.
