ᐅ Placement of Carport on Property

Hello,

I would like to gather some opinions on the best location for the carport. The options are version 1 or version 2. The street and driveway are shown at the bottom of the image.

My thoughts are:

I want to be able to get a trailer or something similar into the yard. Version 1 would allow access through the carport. Version 2 would waste space.
