I have a basement bathroom that is served by a Sanibroy macerator pump system for the toilet, shower, and sink. It works quite well, but apparently the pipe connecting the shower to the macerator is not steep enough, which causes debris to build up in the pipe. In the worst case, this can lead to the shower draining very slowly or not at all. Does anyone know which drain cleaner I can use that won’t damage the macerator pump, and that I can pour into the shower and sink? I don’t want to have to call a plumber every time who uses a drain snake to relieve the pressure.
Alternatively, I could buy a drain snake myself, but could I possibly damage the pump if I insert the snake too far?
Thank you
Regards

I can recommend Rorax liquid.
It is used every 1-2 months overnight in the drain; I have been using it for 10 years and my grandmother for 20 years, and we have never had a clogged drain.
My father once forgot to use it on his sink, but after applying it three times, even fingernails and similar debris broke down, and it drained again without any issues for three years.
As far as I know, it is suitable for lead, plastic, and composite pipes.
