Our built-in double garage is a timber frame construction fully lined on the inside with cement boards (Aquapanel). A reinforcement layer was applied on top. Then, a mineral-based adhesive and reinforcing mortar was applied over the reinforcement and finely smoothed. The floor is smooth waterproof concrete. The garage is ventilated and has a 10cm (4 inch) high tile baseboard all around.
I would now like to paint the garage and possibly also apply a protective coating to the concrete floor. What type of paint would be suitable for the walls, and what options are available for coating the concrete floor? I plan to prime the walls with a deep primer before painting.

So, we will simply prime the garage walls and then paint them white, regardless of whether there is plaster or concrete underneath. We have done this in other basement rooms and it works quite well.
As for the floor, we are still unsure. Most likely a resin-based sealant... (We do not have a screed in the garage)

Dear forum,
Our double garage, integrated into the house, has a timber frame construction fully lined inside with cement boards (Aquapanel). On top of that, a reinforcement layer was applied. Then, a mineral adhesive and reinforcing mortar was spread and finely smoothed over the reinforcement. The floor is a smooth waterproof concrete slab. The garage is ventilated and has a tile baseboard about 10cm (4 inches) high all around.
I would now like to paint the garage and possibly apply a protective coating on the floor (concrete). What kind of paint would be suitable for the walls, and what options are available for coating the concrete floor? I plan to prime the walls with a deep primer before painting. For your ceiling and wall surfaces, I would recommend using an exterior-grade facade paint.
The floor should be treated with a two-component (2K) floor coating.
