Sektionschef7 Aug 2012 07:25Hello everyone
I am currently planning my kitchen using the Ikea online planner, but unfortunately, I cannot select the Numerär Oak countertop. The planner offers Numerär Beech and Birch, but Oak is missing. Does anyone know why?
Best regards

Elvis_12207 Aug 2012 09:32This is because the solid Numerär oak board is no longer available. It is now only offered as a semi-solid version and is called Akerby (with a Swedish Å at the beginning – my keyboard currently refuses to type this character).
It is already integrated in the planner! However, yesterday it could not be displayed correctly yet – it should work properly in a few days.

Sektionschef7 Aug 2012 14:01Thank you for the response! Akerby is known by the online planner.
Are there any existing experiences regarding how sensitive this "semi-solid" board is?
I believe that among the solid wood panels, the Numerär oak was the least sensitive. So why was it taken off the market?

Elvis_12207 Aug 2012 21:35I can't give you a definite answer – I assume that the fully solid version was no longer affordable. The new version is also cheaper. Unfortunately, there are no experience-based data on durability yet, as it has not been built yet, but it is already being sold. I have not seen it "in person" either.
