Bremer_Haus18 Jul 2020 10:24Hello everyone,
I am looking for an MEP planner in the northern Germany area around Bremen who also has experience with passive houses. The task itself is actually quite simple: find companies, call them, and that's it. But I've been sitting here for almost three hours, struggling to find a suitable company at all. The few I found mostly focus on large-scale projects. Does anyone have any tips on where or how I can search more effectively?
Thank you very much

What exactly would they plan in this case?

What exactly would they plan? I wouldn’t want to agree with that statement so generally.
An MEP planner can actually make sense for a single-family home because a lot of nonsense gets installed when there is no planning involved. And a heating installer is simply not a planner!
Many do get a lot right as well, but good planning can, despite the separate costs for the MEP planner, lead to savings (ideally).
Incorrect planning starts with the usually oversized heat pump and by no means ends with overly long heating circuits running at supply temperatures in the Sahara range.

You don’t necessarily need an MEP engineer for this. You can even commission it online (there are professional offices for this) if you have the data from your architect.
Any competent heating or ventilation installer will handle this.
