Please tell me where I can get the plastic pipes for a new water supply line. Plumbing wholesalers don’t sell to private individuals. At Hornbach, they only have copper pipes, which I don’t want. I also need the system for connecting the pipes. How does that work? I look forward to a knowledgeable answer.

Hello,

try sourcing these pipes through a local plumber. These plastic water pipes are a specialized material typically used only by professionals – you will also need special tools to cut, bend, and install the couplings.

My advice: If you don’t know how to work with plastic water pipes, you should ask a tradesperson if they could possibly guide you and inspect or approve the work. Without experience, this will not work.

Hello,

My husband is doing it himself, and we also have plastic water pipes. He bought them from an online shop. The prices were quite reasonable. He was able to get all the parts there. The installation is also much better and easier compared to copper pipes.

We have actually been installing plastic water pipes for years. We also use plastic pipes for wastewater. These are available at most hardware stores as well as specialist suppliers. Most online shops also stock these pipes.

Good, now that this question is settled. We have been using these plastic water pipes for several years. The advantage is that these pipes can be installed quickly. In particular, the HDPE pipe is well suited for potable water supply.

Exactly, and I wanted to emphasize that once again. Not only is the installation easier, but the lifespan of plastic pipes is also much longer than that of copper pipes.

I believe they will last a lifetime.
