We have doors throughout the house that are about 20 years old (brown and probably wood veneer). I would like to replace them with new style doors. The door frames were partly built into drywall, so I would like to keep those. The new doors are RAL 9003, or at least the description says "similar to RAL 9003."
My questions:
1. Is it possible to paint the door frames with a finish in such a way that there is hardly any color difference between the purchased door and the painted frame? If so, how?
2. To minimize color differences, should I choose lacquered or CPL doors?
Thank you.
