Our 9sqm (97 sq ft) kitchen will move with us.
The reordering store offers me:
cabinet 60x195 cm (24x77 inches)
3 drawers (1 tall, 2 small)
1 door
€200 including shipping

The Metod store offers me
METOD / Förvara with drawers & door for €163

Questions that came up

a) Can I simply place the 60cm (24 inches) Metod tall cabinet next to my existing Faktum setup?
b) Is it better to spend the extra €40 for the old Faktum series?

The microwave should fit inside the cabinet; alternatively, place it on top of the cabinet with METOD / FÖRVARA for €94

Looking forward to your opinions 🙂

Do you really want partial extension drawers without soft-close with FÖRVARA? For the same level of comfort, you should compare with METOD/Maximera.

Ok then I am with

METOD / MAXIMERA
Tall cabinet for microwave with door/4 drawers, white, HÄGGEBY white

at 220,- compared to 200,- for Faktum, although here I would have 4 instead of 3 drawers

Are the carcasses (not the interior fittings!) adjustable with Faktum, meaning also regarding the plinth? Our Faktum cabinets (including a 3.8cm (1.5 inch) countertop) have a working height of 93cm (37 inches).

As a note, the cabinet would be placed behind the kitchen door

The base of FAKTUM is 16 cm (6.3 inches) or 21 cm (8.3 inches) high, while METOD’s is 8 cm (3.1 inches). If the bottom edges of the cabinets need to be at the same height, you have to install FAKTUM feet under the METOD cabinet. The METOD carcasses are slightly deeper, so the cabinet would protrude 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8 inches) at the front compared to a FAKTUM cabinet.
