I hope I’m not embarrassing myself right at the start by posting in the wrong section.
We are currently building a house and plan to have a built-in shower in the bathroom. The showerhead will be installed in the ceiling and will be 30 x 30 cm (12 x 12 inches) in size, creating a rainfall effect. Now, I had the idea to install LEDs in the shower ceiling to create a starry sky effect. My questions are:
- Are there 220 V LEDs available, and how do I connect them?
- What type of ceiling material is best suited, considering it is a wet room?
I hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance,
Tobi

Hi,
220V is not necessarily required, but 230V looks pretty good 😉
However, 230V in the shower—I think you might run into some regulatory issues there, but I’m not really familiar with that.
Alternatively, you could install low voltage, for example 12V, which is completely sufficient for LEDs.
