Hello everyone,
Since we have a few renovations coming up soon (new tiles on the ground floor, new interior doors on the ground floor, and a completely new kitchen), I was wondering if it might be a good opportunity to also prepare for an electric vehicle charging station (wallbox) in the carport. The existing cable to the carport is unfortunately only 3x1.5mm² and is therefore not suitable for an 11kW wallbox. I haven’t been able to determine exactly where it enters the house yet. Since we don’t have a basement, it is probably routed underneath the concrete slab going outside.
It is an end-terrace house built in 1997, with our carport on the right (yellow color) and the electrical distribution board unfortunately located in the middle of the house (shown in red on the picture).
Does anyone have any ideas on the easiest way to run the cable outside? Just along the wall from the utility room, through the hallway, and out next to the front door?

This can be done without any problem, and you can also lay a network cable at the same time, which is also available as underground cable.
Based on the construction year, your meter cabinet should be upgradable or convertible according to the new standard, or if you have photovoltaic panels on the roof, this should already be taken care of.
