So, I'm starting a new topic here to avoid overloading the house pictures thread.

I find the sliding doors for ovens quite interesting – but do they really offer any added value? I was also surprised to read that ovens now seem to be adopting a feature I dislike in microwaves: instead of setting temperature and possibly time, you input the "dimensions" of the food?! What is that supposed to achieve?! Personally, I think it’s terrible.

An induction cooktop is an absolute must (alternatively gas); never a regular ceramic cooktop again. The time savings are simply priceless.

We never wanted one because of the noise and the radiation.

What kind of noises?

Induction is what you need
Microwaves are useless

No, seriously, prices will drop or there will be imitators

Noises cannot be ignored. Radiation is in the realm of voodoo. Then also please do not install running water—meaning water veins.

Noise depends on the specific cooktop and cookware combination and can usually be resolved with some experimentation (if present at all).
All electric cooktops emit magnetic fields, while with gas cooktops you are exposed to carbon monoxide (among other combustion products).

And especially at the grill! Truly irresistible.
