So, I'm starting a new topic here to avoid overloading the house pictures thread.

I find the sliding doors for ovens quite interesting – but do they really offer any added value? I was also surprised to read that ovens now seem to be adopting a feature I dislike in microwaves: instead of setting temperature and possibly time, you input the "dimensions" of the food?! What is that supposed to achieve?! Personally, I think it’s terrible.

Uhm, yes...

So, if you have a large kitchen and enjoy investing in luxury appliances, try googling the Miele range, starting at 9 thousand up to 15 thousand for the largest model. (Okay, these are for the US market, but if you want it...)

The large one even makes sense. You can’t prepare all the food together. It’s inconvenient if the side dish has to go into the pot or if you’re cooking for a larger group.

An induction cooktop is an absolute must (alternatively gas); never a traditional ceramic cooktop again. The time savings are simply priceless.

It’s true that people used to dream of a modern gas stove. After all, all the professionals praised its advantages. Then induction cooktops became available for end users. Since then, the trend has been moving in this direction — with all the benefits on your side. And affordable too.

Exactly. Seriously, there’s no need to discuss induction anymore. Cooktop 199,-, oven 299,-, microwave 89,-—that’s just under 600 for the cooking equipment, plus 500 more for the dishwasher, so less than 1100 for everything, which is less than a thermal oven costs. I wouldn’t even consider ceramic glass cooktop, let alone a gas stove. Karsten
