I just spent half an hour writing an introductory statement, and when I tried to send it, I was asked to log in again – and afterwards, everything was lost.
With all due respect to IKEA – this is exactly how you often feel when trying to furnish a room with IKEA.
Best regards,
Frank

I just spent half an hour writing an introductory statement, and when I tried to submit it, I was prompted to log in again – after that, everything was gone.

Regards, FrankHello Frank,
your somewhat philosophical post immediately inspired me to reflect further – thank you.
Maybe this is exactly what sets IKEA fans apart from the rest of the world. We can handle the frustration you described better because we have already gained more experience with it than others. Doesn’t this toughen us up for the big and small challenges of everyday life?
Combined with a certain lack of understanding of what exactly is going on inside a computer — which happens to me quite often — this gives you nerves of steel.
If you can furnish rooms with IKEA without your blood pressure rising, and your blood pressure doesn’t even increase the slightest when warnings flash on the computer screen, like a Christmas tree decorated for the holidays, then nothing can really unsettle you anymore.
It’s a pity I’m still far from that point…
