Hello everyone,
we have received an offer for interior doors from Konold RSPK doors in natural oak, including a glass door and a sliding door. Does anyone have experience with Konold doors? What should I pay attention to, and which components (especially for the glass and sliding doors) might cause issues?

Hello Uwe, first of all, for those who are wondering what RSPK stands for: it refers to tubular beams.
What I would pay attention to is that the doors have rounded edges. Sharp edges are more prone to damage from impacts.
To keep a consistent look, matching door frames look good. For the sliding door, the main focus is on the track system. I would make sure that it closes softly (soft close) and operates smoothly. That’s what came to mind for now.

OK, thanks already. Soft close is standard with Konold, I believe. However, it will be installed on the pantry wall anyway, so the appearance is not that important to me there.
Rounded edges cost about 30€ more per door. I think in our previous apartment we also had Konold doors without rounded edges, and even after 16 years they still looked very good.

Hello,
I can recommend a blog that explains things very clearly:
Just search on Google for "hausbauen24 buy prefabricated doors" and take the fourth result. In my opinion, this house-building blog provides a very clear explanation of what matters and what options are available.
