Does anyone know if IKEA has a clearance sale?

If so, where is it? I couldn't find any information about it.

In the clearance section, you can find not only slightly damaged items but also display models and returned goods. All these items are tested for functionality and sold at a reduced price. You can really find some great bargains there.

Lukas

That's right, Lukas,
my first stop is always the clearance section as well! You can also often ask the staff there for a better price 😉 Sometimes it works—sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s definitely worth trying 😉

I don't think there is a clearance sale. But in the past, we had something called an "OUTDOOR SALE" where slightly damaged cabinets were sold by the pallet at a very low price. Nowadays, we rarely have anything like that.

Hi,
I also remember the IKEA in Dorsten!
Before the building was fully enclosed, it was used as a large "clearance house," meaning that all kinds of items – sometimes in large quantities – were ordered to this location (for example, from one region).
Somehow, it didn’t work out properly, and the building was eventually closed. Before that, Dorsten was the first store in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).

So, this was a bit of IKEA history!

Visiting the clearance sections of the individual stores is always recommended 😉

There were also occasional "outdoor sales," especially during the summer!
