Hello IKEA fans,
I’m usually a fan of IKEA too, but right now I’m really frustrated!
About three weeks ago, I found my dream carpet runner in the IKEA online shop (Silkeborg carpet 0.80 x 3.50 meters (2 ft 7 in x 11 ft 6 in)). Unfortunately, this carpet can neither be ordered online nor is it available for purchase in any IKEA store in Europe.
There is no central contact point where you can inquire about if, when, or where this carpet might be available to buy. I’ve called, asked in person at the IKEA store in Cologne, and sent an email two weeks ago… and so far, I haven’t received any useful information. I’m starting to get annoyed and wonder if it’s even allowed to promote products on the internet that they don’t intend to sell!?
Does anyone here have any experience with this?
