Hello, can someone help me? I bought a pharmacist’s cabinet. The panel is supposedly the correct one. However, there are also pre-drilled holes for hinges. But the bottom drawer must be attached exactly there. Should I drill into the plastic cover of the wrong hole? Will that hold the drawer securely in the long term?

I’m stuck and didn’t really want to spend the holidays on a construction site.

I look forward to an enlightening answer and otherwise wish you a happy New Year!

Hi,

exactly, you HAVE to drill into the cover, and yes, it holds. Just follow the instructions calmly and carefully, and it will work out. 😎

Enjoy your kitchen and have a great start to the new year

Drilling? The plastic cap has a groove where the screw bites in, right, or is something else meant?

Nayla meant that you can drill precisely according to the template directly into the plastic cover of the hinge recess. Even if it doesn’t seem stable at first glance – it holds!

As Nayla said – work methodically following the instructions and template – then it will work out.

Hello!
I have exactly this problem with this cabinet model. But what do you mean by template? Which template are you referring to? I have been looking for a long time and haven’t found one!
