MintieHello forum!
My problem: I bought a used KLIPPAN sofa and then got a new cover from IKEA. According to the instructions, you’re supposed to insert these tubes into the loops of the cover and then attach them to the underside of the Klippan. The instructions say the Klippan is open on the underside. However, mine isn’t. It’s completely covered with a black fabric secured by about 5 million staples. Did I get an older Klippan model? Was it different before?
And those tubes—can you buy them individually from IKEA? I’ve already called, but apart from an automated phone system that wouldn’t transfer me to a person for clarification, I haven’t had any luck!

Somewhere on the sofa there should be a label with the name and/or article number. There is also a 4-digit number that looks something like this: 0913. This means it was manufactured in 2009 during calendar week 13.
Take this information to IKEA. Maybe you can still order some parts. But I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much.
