Hello everyone,

I bought the DÄTID OV8 built-in oven and the Framtid HINF4T induction cooktop last week, which a friend will install and connect next week.
Today, I unpacked and inspected the appliances, and I noticed a few things:
1. The oven is connected with a 3-core cable (blue, brown, yellow-green), but my old oven and the oven connection box use a 5-core cable (blue, brown, black, black, green-yellow).
2. The induction cooktop does not come with either a connection cable or an adapter cable for the electric stove.

The missing connection/adapter cable is what worries me! Shouldn’t it be included?
My old oven and ceramic cooktop were connected with an adapter plug that came with the cooktop.

I will have the oven connected by a professional, but if the cable or connection is missing, will they or I have to go out and buy one?

No need to panic. The electrician has everything with them. Anything missing is intentional, so that no one without the proper knowledge connects the devices.

Hello Meverick,

I will have the induction cooktop connected by an acquaintance who works as an industrial electrician at my workplace.
I don’t think he will have such adapters with him!
I would like to get them beforehand!
Don’t worry, I’m not planning to connect the appliances myself!!!!

Hello Brootos,
thank you for your reply.
I still have a 5-core cable and the corresponding ferrules here, so that will work.
Thanks
