To celebrate its 30th anniversary, IKEA released a collector’s box. This box is only given to employees and contains, besides the 30-year Billy bookshelf book, a voucher (transferable) worth €32.30 (about $35.50), redeemable for a Billy, Benno, or Bergsbo. The odd amount is calculated from the price of a standard Billy bookshelf minus a 15% employee discount. So, for employees, the bookshelf is essentially free...

The highlight, and especially interesting for collectors of curiosities, is a miniature Billy bookshelf included in the box. The miniature shelf must be assembled and is packaged in a brown box just like the large original, even with a tiny price tag/name label. You even have to insert the tiny dowels for the shelves! It is truly an accurate mini version of a white standard Billy bookshelf. Once assembled, the shelf measures about 34cm (13 inches) tall. A lovely and rare decoration for any desk.

Since I have no use for the box, I wanted to ask if anyone here might be interested?

While tidying up, I just discovered that I still have the original sealed Ikea Billy bookshelf miniature. I would like to sell it, so anyone who makes me a good offer can pick it up in Dortmund. I live in the city center.
